Yuryuzan Settelments of Chelyabinsk region

The city is situated on the western slope of the South Urals on the river Yuryuzan (the Kama basin) 294 km to the west from Chelyabinsk.

The city is included in the Katav-Ivanovsk district. It appeared around the Yuryuzan-Ivanovski iron-producing plant, which was founded in 1758 by famous ural manufacturers I.B.Tverdyshev and I.S.Myasnikov. It worked until 1908.
